Zero Platform Fee Structure
Because BandaRito is 100% free for musicians and event organizers, we never charge platform booking fees, service surcharges, or membership subscriptions. Consequently, there are no BandaRito platform fees to refund.
1. Direct Booking Deposit Guidelines
In the Philippine live music industry, bands and showbands typically request a reservation down payment (usually 20% to 50% of the agreed talent fee) to lock down the date and reject other competing inquiries.
Cancellation by the Client:
If the client cancels more than 30 days prior to the event, bands are encouraged to provide a partial refund or allow date rescheduling. If canceled within 14 days of the performance date, the reservation deposit is generally non-refundable to compensate musicians for lost opportunities.
Cancellation by the Band:
If a band must cancel a confirmed gig due to severe illness or unavoidable emergency, the band management must promptly return 100% of any collected deposits to the client or provide an equivalent verified substitute band with client consent.
2. Force Majeure (Typhoons & Calamities)
Under Philippine law (Civil Code of the Philippines, Art. 1174), events beyond human control — such as severe typhoons with PAGASA storm warnings, catastrophic floods, earthquakes, or government-mandated venue lockdowns — qualify as Force Majeure.
In cases of Force Majeure, neither party shall be held liable for damages. Clients and artists are urged to reschedule the gig without penalty, or return any unused advance funds in good faith.
3. Dispute Mediation Assistance
While BandaRito is not a direct party to client-artist financial transactions, we maintain a strict code of ethics. If a party engages in fraudulent activity or fails to honor refund commitments, contact us at:
